Everything Giving Hand runs today falls under one of these two efforts. Each grows as our capacity and support grow.
Giving Hand's Vision Support Program stands with the visually impaired community in Monrovia, working to make everyday independence achievable rather than exceptional.
We focus on practical support and advocacy — helping visually impaired individuals and their families access the resources they need, and pushing for a Liberia that's more accessible by design.
Giving Hand's Less Fortunate Support Program stands with families across Monrovia who are struggling to meet their most basic needs, providing direct assistance where it's needed most.
We focus on practical, hands-on support — food, essentials, and everyday resources — delivered directly to families in need, with an eye toward long-term stability rather than one-time relief.
Alongside our two named programs, Giving Hand provides direct assistance to less fortunate families and people living with disabilities in Monrovia as needs arise. As our resources grow, we intend to formalize these into standalone programs.
